The children gave some lovely feedback in the Pupil Survey - "The sports competitions are great. There are no bullies. It's better here than my last school because it's quieter and you can get on with your work. You always have someone to go to. It's kind, caring and well-organised. What would you change - nothing - it's great just as it is!"

Mr Mulhern, Teacher of Music.

We have a developing music curriculum with children receiving a music lesson each week led by a specialist trained music teacher. Year 3 get the opportunity to learn Brass instruments led by the Isle of Wight music hub. A large number of children take the opportunity to learn an instrument. Peripatetic lessons take place weekly in keyboards, guitar, drums, trumpet and violin although all instrument teachers are available, just talk to Reception or Mr Mulhern for an application form.

This school year has seen children perform at numerous events include the school productions of ‘Bongo Bandits’ and also Party in the Park where students showed their singing and active abilities.

In class the children will have the opportunity to learn Key Terminology, Keyboard, Ukulele, African Drums and a variety of percussion instruments.

We will offer a range of musical after school clubs, including:
