Lighting the way to a brighter future

Welcome

A very warm welcome to our school.
It is my great privilege to welcome you to Niton Primary School, where every child is at the heart of all we do. We are proud to be a caring, inclusive and ambitious community where children are inspired to learn, encouraged to grow and supported to become the very best version of themselves.

Our vision is built upon the values of Truth, Love, Respect, Friendship and Courage. These values are woven into every aspect of school life, shaping the way we learn together, care for one another and celebrate each other's achievements. They provide the strong foundation upon which our children develop not only as successful learners but also as kind, thoughtful and responsible members of society.

We believe that every child is unique, bringing their own talents, interests and aspirations to our school family. From the moment they walk through our doors, they are welcomed into a nurturing environment where they are known, valued and respected as individuals. We strive to ensure that every child feels safe, happy and confident, enabling them to flourish
academically, socially, emotionally and personally.

As a school, we are committed to creating an environment where every child can thrive. We have high expectations for all our pupils and believe that every child has the potential to achieve great things. Through an exciting, broad and enriching curriculum, combined with exceptional care and support, we both challenge and nurture our children so they can discover
their strengths, develop resilience and reach their true potential.

Our school is much more than a place of learning—it is a community and a family. We cherish the strong relationships that exist between children, staff, parents and the wider community, recognising that by working together we create the very best opportunities for our pupils.

We celebrate diversity, encourage curiosity and foster a genuine sense of belonging, ensuring that every child feels proud to be part of our school.

We want our children to leave us with a lifelong love of learning, confidence in their own abilities and the courage to embrace new challenges. Above all, we hope they leave with happy memories, lasting friendships and the values that will guide them throughout their lives.

Whether you are considering joining our school, are already part of our community or are simply visiting our website, I hope you gain a real sense of the warmth, ambition and care that make our school such a special place. We would be delighted to welcome you to visit us and experience first-hand the happy, purposeful atmosphere that enables every child to shine.

I look forward to welcoming you and your family into our school community.

With warmest wishes,

Mrs Kirsty Thomas
Acting Headteacher
